Yes I do Love Clearwater Beach

My husband and I lived in central Florida for 5 years and found that the western beaches are the best. Clearwater Beach was our definite favorite with Sanibel second.
We found that at Clearwater the sand was soft and fine and the Gulf of Mexico was a beautiful turquoise and clear.
I love to collect shells and both beaches were ideal for my hobby.
Also, Clearwater was a great place to play with our dogs. They loved it.
The best place to stay on the beach is The Clearwater Beach Hotel. Not only was the dining world class, but the hotel rooms were as well. They even have little "cabins" on the beach which is where we stayed when traveling with our dogs.
You just can't beat Clearwater Beach for a great time!
