Book During Shoulder Season- Spring and Fall; You’ll find better rates at hotels, resorts and cottage rentals and enjoy fewer crowds. Kids are in school and most “snowbirds” are back up north.

BYOF (bring your own food)- This is a big money saver!

There are lots of beach hotels in Florida that have refrigerators, microwaves,full kitchens and even BBQ Grills. Take foods for snacking, breakfast and/ or lunch, then go out for dinner.

We always bring lots of water and drinks. Not only is it cheaper, but it’s easier to grab a drink and go...to the beach that is!

TIP- Many hotels like Holiday Inn Express - Click Here offer free breakfasts…if so, then you can leave the cereal at home!

TIP- If you want to go out to eat, you can save money like my husband and I do. We use Restaurant.com and we love it!

We buy certificates from them...save money and eat at some the best restaurants in the area.

Cheap Vacation Packages- Combining hotel and airfare can often get you better rates than booking these separately. Car rentals and tours can also be included.
